Alexander Kofi is the glue to the mold of the Jah Kings. A vast amount of talented Raga musicians that are litterally spread throughout the united states, this group is the pinnicle of diversity in motion. The group is split into smaller grooups through out the united states and when Alexander comes to their area of the country, they have shows. All materials are recorded and put together after the fact and they display a unique ability to be able to play in multiple states without the hassle of moving an entire band around.
Their last album "Critical Mass" was a mass hit, and we enjoyed a deeply spiritual conversation with him about the condition of the world. After which he invited myself and Hotlips to be part of his LAKOTA Lodge and participate in their spiritual ceremonies at their lodge. Eddie Murphy is a long mixer master, mixing out 5-6 hour long DUB mixes on all kinds of sound topics, converting and changing sounds to fit his ears desire. Eddie is involved in many of the local bands, providing moral support and being there for nearly every downtown local Venue event.
Some what under rated by the local listeners, Eddie does have what it takes to make the Dubs he and his friends like to hear. At one point he was running a show for BackHand Studios, however, due to the length of his tracks, it was near impossible to upload them properly into the podcasts.

Amazing group! Wow, they are on the edge of CORE in all its forms. I can not explain the sound other than it is something not to be missed for any lover of metal, metal core or death core.
They have some amazing tracks such as "Dirty Gumping" and "Kakarot". The sound flexes between metal and rock to death core. The sound is distinct and stands out from the rest on many levels. A great group of down to earth guys, making noise that makes sense. It is Barium Alive, Springfield's up and coming metal Core band!

BackHand Studios OWN Sir Deaton Herb the Lord Of Mayhem is the Front man for the now extinct, Crouton Cartwheel Crusaders. A dash of Punk and insanity, they weave the nerds way using PUNK sound to tell stories of Galactica, and those crazy things that you may encounter in every day life.
Hailing out of Washington, this group separated as Deaton had to come back to the Midwest to be closer to his son. A sad day for CCC, and a happy day for Deatons son, who had been missing his father. We hope that one day Backhand Studios will have the funding to relocate them all, and raise this incredible band from the ashes of priority. -Nabz

Travis suffers from multiple issues, and most begin once he has started drinking. He is an amazing expressionist artist, using wit, smart ass comments and a turrets type of style that is amusing for the breif spurts he spits out. He plays guitar and sings song bitz and parodies to the harmony of a freight train rumble and the nails across the chalk board. Very Punk, very on the edge of your seat insanity, what the hell is this guy gonna do or say next? Jae Macc has visited some of our other shows, such as "POLITICAL SCREAM" he is politically motivated and is not fooled by the trickery laid out by the establishment. He has voiced his opinions many times on our shows and is known by our fans by his infamous stutters. The amazing part here, is his stutter during conversation about polotics is hilarious, but once the Mic is on and the music starts to roll, the stutter vanishes and he becomes fluid. Jae Macc lives next door to the Portal house and backHand Studios, we have celebrated his birthday with him on more than one occassion. This group does traditional as well as parodies of the old traditional pirate songs of the OLD ages! Amazing renditions of the sounds you would hear on the open 7 seas of old.
Sadly, in the time we met them, the group had split into different directions and is no longer together. We wish them the best in their endeavors and I can say if anyone can pull this off, they don't need luck in their new adventures. This is a group that will historically and amusingly be missed. Come to be known as Johny B, street reporter, and star of the Kylobyte and Johny B showdown on YouTube, Johny B is the TOLKIEN BLACK guy of BEER420, as by his rule. He makes the racial disclosure warnings, intro's an other comedic styles per requests that the show needs that involves "THE BLACK GUY."
